Mostly sunny, light SW wind. Two Red-throated Divers flew east, a Great Northern Diver was fishing close inshore and five Great Crested Grebes and a Common Scoter were offshore. Waders included 61 Ringed Plovers, 83 Dunlin and the Purple Sandpiper roosting between the groynes and 11 Snipe were visible on the Marsh Pool. A drake Teal and three Shovelers were also on the Marsh Pool. Also noted were a singing Song Thrush near the skate park, a Chiffchaff and a Goldcrest along the east bank and eight Goldfinches by the upper brook.

2nd

There were eight Great Crested Grebes and a Common Scoter offshore. Two Shovelers were on the Marsh Pool and the Purple Sandpiper was present. Also noted was a Song Thrush, and a Goldcrest at the Obs.
